BBC World Service looking for Chinese people who have migrated to the UK for a long time but never cast any vote in general elections...

From Britt Yip of BBC World Service:

I am researching an online/radio feature about ethnic Chinese and British politics for BBC World Service's programme Outlook and the Chinese Service's website. We would like to speak to Chinese people who have migrated to the UK for a long time but never cast any vote in general elections.

We're interested in their views on Obama's election, whether they think he's an inspiration for the ethnic minorities in this country, and what they think about the lack of representation of ethnic Chinese in the British parliament.

Do you have friends or know anyone to whom I may be interested in talking? It will be a non-committal and off the record chat. My contact number is 020 7557 3087 /07881 613959. You can also email me.

Looking forward to your reply.
