Pupp-acting workshop
We would like to invite you to a free workshop in pupp-acting.
What is pupp-acting? Pupp-acting is an inter-discipline performance that combines human size puppet and acting. One performer is able to create a simultaneous dialogue between one character he is acting and another one he is puppeteering.
This workshop will be provided by Paul Piris and Aya Nakamura. We have been developing pupp-acting for the past last years in connection with our different projects, in particular Urashima Taro. You can see examples of our work if you visit our website: www.rouge28theatre.co.uk.
The aim of this workshop is to learn the basic principals of pupp-acting. We will work on the relationship between the body and the gaze of the puppet to that of the performer. We will use special puppets designed for this workshop.
Date: Saturday 24th July
Time: 10am – 1pm
Place: Central School of Speech and Drama
