Casting call - East Asian male needed for short film
I’m casting the short film "Healthy" for Hades Productions and am looking for someone to play the father, East Asian, playing age 55+
The writer Tuyen Do is a graduate of the Royal Court Writers Programme. Part developed by BBC Writers Room and B3 Media this comedy drama tells the story of a young British born Vietnamese woman’s attempts to reconcile family expectations, her own chaotic love life and what is means to stay healthy. The film will offer great, high-quality material for showreels and will also be entered into film festivals in the year ahead.
We can offer expenses for food and travel and the shoot should be a lot of fun.
We are also interested in hearing from any people without acting experience who would enjoy the opportunity to work on a film. The father has a few lines and is integral to the film. We need someone with a strong presence who would make a convincing head of the household!
