ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

With the support of the The Fenton Arts Trust, we are offering the opportunity to work as Assistant Director alongside Director Iqbal Khan on Tamasha’s upcoming production of Snookered. The Assistant Director will be involved from rehearsals in London (9 – 28 January) and then accompany the company to Oldham where it will open at University Campus Oldham and be involved in audience engagement work throughout the tour at specific points to be agreed. Supported by The Fenton Arts Trust we can offer a bursary of £2000 for the role to include attendance at rehearsals and the devising and delivery of at least 7 workshops on tour. OBSERVER

Tamasha would like to offer the opportunity to observe director, Iqbal Khan in rehearsal for Tamasha’s forthcoming production of Snookered by Ishy Din. Rehearsals will take place at The Jerwood Space, SE1, London for three weeks from 9 – 28 January 2012

This opportunity is open to all, however, you must be able to demonstrate that you have a good understanding of and a particular interest in telling culturally diverse stories.
