One of a kind artist, traveler and all round professional eccentric Bill Aitchison has been taking the citizenship test... in Southern China. Having recently performed
his one-man show in Beijing, Shanghai and Xiamen, he now returns to the UK with insights, dodgy translations and a lot of plastic.

Bill Aitchison is a theatre and performance artist who has shown his solo performances and videos at theatres, festivals and galleries across Europe, Asia, The Middle East and America. He has spent extensive periods in New York’s downtown experimental theatre scene and the European performance circuit working as an artist, writer and performer, has made work for radio, published critical and creative texts and has a PhD from the University of London. www.billaitchison.co.uk
