Vacancy: Course Leader: BA in World Performance
COURSE LEADER: BA IN WORLD PERFORMANCE
East 15 Acting School, University of Essex
The BA in World Performance prepares students for a career in performance and related fields and offers applied performance skills and contextual studies covering a diverse range of forms and styles of performance from across the world. The post-holder will coordinate the teaching and administration of the course.
The post-holder is likely to have a background that combines understanding and practical performance skills (non-western especially welcome) with in-depth general knowledge about both western and non-western performance. Higher education teaching experience and the ability to teach practically and contextually at least one non-western performance form to an intermediate level is essential.
BA World Performance is one of East 15’s four undergraduate courses at its Southend campus, with new, state-of-the art theatre and studios. (Post-holder can live in Southend or commute from London.)
