Piccadilly Revisited Outdoors
An outdoor showing of the 1929 classic British movie Piccadilly, starring the iconic Chinese American actress Anna May Wong, in the dramatic setting of the Southbank centre.
As part of the Thames Festival, Chinatown Arts Space presents the film with a live performance of a new contemporary score, composed by Ruth Chan and Suki Mok.
The performance incorporates voice and drama highlighting aspects of the life and role of Anna May Wong, in a concept developed and performed by co-writers David Tse Ka-Shing and Alice Lee.
